About Workshop
In today’s world, most students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels,
teachers, researchers, and even employees along with social workers need to have
a clear and precise understanding of research methodology.
While there are many theoretical information along with a number of books and
other secondary text material regarding the research concepts, they generally
lack in discussing and depicting the practical and application oriented aspects.
An effort will be made with the workshop to bridge this gap and provide
practical insights into research methodology with a clear understanding of the
basic concepts along with a practical exposure to world's renowned statistical
package SPSS.
In order to discuss the theoretical aspects, many cases and real-life examples
will be used in the workshop. Most of these are in the Indian context, making it
easier to understand. Additionally, the use of popular research tools like the
SPSS will be discussed extensively, in order to help the researchers in
developing their skills, knowledge and competencies.
Target Audience
The program is exclusively designed for faculties who are actively engaged in
teaching and research along with research scholars and graduate / post-graduate
student researchers.
